JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Tourism unveiled a new promo video at its annual meeting Monday.

The two and a half minute short movie is part of a series being created to help showcase the unique nature of the Jamestown community. Additional videos are being developed to showcase the many niche interests of travelers.

“This is a starting point,” states Christian Cairy, Jamestown Tourism board member. “We will continue to capture footage to help create a series that lifts Jamestown up as a place to visit and live.”

This project will grow Jamestown’s digital presence and allow visitors to learn more.

“People know the Jamestown they see driving 75 mph on I-94. We want to take them deeper into the community,” says Paulette Ritter, board president of Jamestown Tourism.

The photo and video project was funded through the Jamestown Tourism Capital Improvements Fund.
