HALLIDAY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota native Chloe Fredericks has reached the Top 10 in NBC’s televised show “American Song Contest.”

Originally from Halliday, Fredericks has drawn comparisons of Adele and Amy Winehouse. On the national stage, she’s captured the eyes, ears, and hearts of many, reaching the finals in the song contest. Her original song “Can’t Make You Love Me” goes up against others representing their own states.

“I’ve cried, screamed with joy, and laughed until my sides hurt,” Fredericks stated on Facebook. “This is all because of you – and I want to send ALL of my gratitude in tenfold right back to you. Thank you ND, thank you America, thank you world. Let’s go do our best and see where we go.”
