MAYVILLE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2022 Region 2 Softball tournament will be held at May-Port CG High School in Mayville, May 21st-25th. The first day of the tournament on Saturday, May 21st, is single elimination and will held at Mayville State University at the football field, then double elimination Monday-Wednesday at the High School. The Thompson Tommies are the three time defending champs and are the number one seed this year. Here is the first day schedule:

930am – No. 2 May-Port/CG vs. No. 7 Dakota Prairie

1130am – No. 3 Grafton vs. No. 6 Pembina County North

130pm – No. 1 Thompson vs. No. 8 Larimore

330pm – No. 4 Langdon/Edmore/Munich vs. No. 5 Carrington
