GULF SHORES, Ala.– Jordynn Toliver (SO/Box Elder, S.D.) became a two-time NAIA Outdoor Track and Field All-American Thursday while setting two new school records in the process.

Toliver placed fifth in the javelin with a top throw of 43.30 meters (142 feet, 1 inch), beating the previous UJ mark of 138 feet, 1 inch set by Christi Johnson in 1994.

Also on Thursday, Toliver finished sixth in the heptathlon, scoring 4729 points and topping Sarah Skipper’s 2011 record of 4657 points. She won the shot put with a top mark of 12.12 meters as well as the javelin (40.86 meters).

Toliver was an All-American in the pentathlon during the 2022 indoor season, and becomes the first UJ outdoor All-American since Kaiann Arellano in 2018 (heptathlon, 6th place).
