VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDHSAA) Team seeding and drawing for the 2022 North Dakota High School Activities Association Class B Baseball State Tournament were determined Friday, May 27, 2022. The top five teams were ranked through an online voting process by coaches of the participating schools with the remaining three teams being randomly drawn to determine quarterfinal matchups.

Matchups for Thursday, June 2 State Quarterfinals at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo:
10:00 a.m. – #2 Thompson vs. North Star (Second Random Draw)
30 min. after – #3 Central Cass vs. Des Lacs/Burlington (Third Random Draw)
3:30 p.m. – #1 LaMoure-Litchville/Marion vs. Surrey (First Random Draw)
30 min. after – #4 Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich vs. #5 Beulah

The 2022 North Dakota High School Activities Association Baseball State Tournament will be held June 2-4 at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo.

LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich are the defending State champs, they beat Lamoure/Litchville/Marion 9-1 in last years state championship game at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown. All of the Loboes games can be heard on Q101.1 FM and newsdakota.com, starting with Thursdays game at 330pm, 320pm pregame.

The Thompson Tommies have been to the state tournament eight out of the last nine years and will face North Star in the quarterfinals on Thursday. Thompson finished third last year, NS eighth. For the Surrey Mustangs, this is the first time to state since 2002.
