FARGO, N.D. (NDHP) – Two people died after a pickup crashed into the back of their motorcycle on Saturday, May 28th around 11pm.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said a motorcycle traveling westbound on Highway 11 was slowing down to make a turn when a pickup rear ended the motorcycle. The impact ejected both occupants from the motorcycle

The patrol identified motorcycle driver as 45-year-old Corey Volesky and his passenger as 40-year-old Amber Krause Volesky, both of Wyndmere, ND died at the scene. The crash happened between Hankinson and Lidgerwood on Highway 11.

The driver of the pickup, 41-year-old Roberto Corona Eguiza of Veblen, S.D. allegedly fled the scene on foot, Eguiza was arrested later. He now faces a number charges. More details are available in the news release below.
