highway-patrol-rollover-simulation

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Children in Jamestown got a firsthand look at how important seatbelts are when in your vehicle.

The Rollover Simulator recreates what happens to vehicle occupants during a rollover crash. It works by rotating the trailer-mounted half-truck up to 30 miles per hour with crash test dummies positioned in place of occupants.

State Highway Trooper Alex Breitbach says the simulator demonstrates what were to happen to those who aren’t wearing seatbelts in a rollover.

He added the same goes for car seats when it comes to kids safety.
