GARRISON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Day four of the tournament was held once again at Titans Field, one more team eliminated and the championship game, here are the results:

Lamoure 2  Langdon 0

Lamoure Post 19 has knocked four teams out of the tourney and so far are 4-0 when facing elimination, after defeating the Red Sox of Langdon Post 98 by two runs in the first game of the day. Corbin Potts pitched a great game for Post 19, a complete game, three hit shutout, 102 pitches, no runs, 10 strikeouts, three hits, four walks and hit batter. Markus Kingzett takes the loss, seven innings, 108 pitches, two runs, none earned, three strikeouts, five hits, two walks, no hit batters. Connor Johnson scored the first run of the game for Lamoure in the top of the first inning and knocked in Tate Mart for the second run of the game in the top of the seventh, he was 2-for-3 at the plate, with a single, double and an RBI. Mart had a single, Potts a single and Colton Ness a single. Jack Romfo, Brady Regner and Kingzett each had a single for Langdon. Langdon ends their season at 20-5 overall.

Lamoure 9  Cando 4, 9 innings

Cando Post 79 scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at four all and send the championship game into extra innings. Lamoure Post 19 put the game away in the top of the ninth, scoring five runs and held Cando scoreless in the home half of the ninth. Both teams used four pitchers in the back and forth contest. Connor Johnson picks up the victory, he was the third pitcher of the game for Lamoure. Tate Mart started, working six innings, then he reached his tournament max pitch count. He was relieved by Corbin Potts, who worked an inning and a third, then he reached his max pitched count. Gunner Thielges recorded the last out in the bottom of the ninth. Landon Piehl hit a solo homerun for Post 19, his second of the tourney, third this season. Anthony Hanson had two hits, a single, triple and knocked in three. Karsen Simon started for Cando, working six and a third, Jack Ahlberg two thirds work, Blayne Anderson an inning a two-thirds and Brody Svir a third inning. Lamoure is now 5-0 when facing elimination at the state tourney and they improve to 26-6 overall, Cando suffers their first loss of the tournament and they drop to 18-4 overall.
