MARION, N.D. (NDHP) – A Jamestown teenager and a Fargo man suffered injuries in a two vehicle crash five miles west of Marion on Friday, August 19th about 8:45 AM.

The teenager was driving a 2005 Ford Explorer and 25-year-old Dalton Steinkopf of Fargo was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado.

According the the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) The Ford was north bound on 94th Ave SE. The Chevrolet was east bound on 55th St SE. This is an unmarked intersection with water and cat tails on the corners. As the vehicles entered the intersection the Ford struck the middle passenger side of Chevrolet. Both vehicles entered the ditch to the northeast of the intersection. The Ford came to rest on its wheels facing east. The Chevrolet came to rest on the drivers side facing southeast.

Both drivers were able to get themselves out of the vehicle. Lamoure Ambulance arrived on scene and transported both drivers to Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Both drivers were treated for minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
