Jamestown concludes its road trip on Saturday against Doane (Neb.) University beginning at 1 p.m.

UJ (3-4-1 overall, 2-0-0 GPAC) is off to a quick start in conference play, defeating Midland (Neb.) University and Morningside (Iowa) University by a combined score of 5-1 at the Jimmie Turf Field last week.

Hastings (6-0-0 overall, 1-0-0 GPAC) was a 10-0 winner over Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) University last Saturday. The Broncos have scored a combined 22 goals in their last three matches and have netted at least four goals in five of their six wins.

The Jimmies snapped a six-match losing streak to Hastings with a 2-1 road win on April 3, 2021, then followed that up with a 3-1 win at home on September 23, 2021.

Doane (4-2-1, 1-0-0 GPAC) hosts Presentation (S.D.) College Thursday before welcoming Jamestown on Saturday. After losing back-to-back matches by a 2-0 score, the Tigers have rebounded in a big way, defeating Nebraska Wesleyan 5-0 on September 7 and Mount Marty (S.D.) University 7-0 on September 14. Doane is 3-0 at home so far in 2022.

UJ has emerged victorious over the Tigers in six straight matches. Jamestown rolled to an 8-2 win last season at home, and is 3-0 at Doane since 2016.
