Jamestown concludes its road trip on Saturday against Doane (Neb.) University beginning at 3:15 p.m.

UJ (2-5-1 overall, 0-1-1 GPAC) has been held off the scoresheet in its last two matches, playing to a scoreless draw against Midland (Neb.) University last Thursday, then falling by a 2-0 score to Morningside (Iowa) University on Saturday. The Jimmies are looking to end a four-match winless streak.

Hastings (3-1-0 overall, 1-0-0 GPAC ) was a 6-0 winner over Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) University last Saturday. The Broncos have scored six goals in each of their last two matches and are averaging four goals per match in the early part of the season.

The Jimmies snapped a six-match losing streak to Hastings with a 2-1 win in Jamestown on September 23 of last season. UJ’s last match in Hastings was a 2-1 loss on April 10, 2021.

Doane (0-8-0, 0-1-0 GPAC) hosts Presentation (S.D.) College Thursday before welcoming Jamestown on Saturday. The Tigers have struggled to find offense as of late, scoring just two goals in its last four contests. Doane lost a 2-1 decision to Mount Marty (S.D.) University last Wednesday.

UJ is unbeaten in its last five against the Tigers dating back to 2015. In last season’s matchup, the Jimmies played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw in Jamestown on September 25. Doane’s only win against UJ came in 2009 by a score of 5-0.
