CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Sophomore QB Josh Bickett threw two touchdowns as the Cardinals of Carrington defeat the Aggies of Park River Area for an important Region 2 victory 28-6 on Friday night in Carrington’s homecoming game. Carrington is now 2-4 in the region and overall, PR drops to 1-4 in the region and 1-5 overall.

The Cardinals drove 55 yards on their opening drive for the first touchdown of the game and never looked back, Kael Kovar finished the drive punching it in from 1-yard out for the TD. Bickett’s two touchdowns would be the next two scores for Carrington. He would connect with Grady Shipman for a 32-yard TD reception in the second quarter and Hudson Schmitz for a 20-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter. The Aggies got their only score of the game with about four minutes left in the fourth quarter when Andrew Zikmund ran in for a nine yard TD. Ty Johnston scored late in the fourth quarter for Carrington, a 2-yard TD.
