VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  While team scores were not available, Hi-Liner wrestlers turned in a strong performance at a competitive Knights of Columbus tournament in Jamestown Saturday.

The Hi-Liners produced three champions.  Koltyn Grebel recorded four falls in winning the 120-pound weight class.  Koye Grebel again moved up to 145 and defeated the top-ranked, second-ranked, and fourth-ranked wrestlers in winning a championship.  Broden Muske recorded four falls in taking the title at 220.

Tucker Johnson, Alex Rogelstad, Espen Kunze, and Isaiah Schuldheisz took runner-up finishes.  Chase Coghlan finished third at 106, defeating a Fargo Davies opponent that defeated him by fall just five days earlier in an EDC dual.

Gabby Hannig was undefeated in winning a girls championship at 115 pounds.  Deagan Kirshenmann placed fourth at 125.  Mylee Christianson placed fourth at 135.  Kendra Greene placed fourth, Brooke Bundy fifth, and Grace Undem placed sixth.

The Hi-Liners will participate in the Grand Forks Sertoma tournament this weekend.
