VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Reserve at Woodland special events center in Valley City is open for business.

Co-owner and Valley City native, Kayla Cash, Director of Sales at the Sanctuary Events Center in Fargo said the reconstruction project of the building located east of Bjornson’s public golf course was completed using local contractors in Valley City or the surrounding area.

She said it was a trying process to meet all the building code issues but we did it the right way and got the final approval. Cash believes this event center will generate more traffic for existing businesses in Valley City starting this year.

Co-owner Jon Rustvang talked about how Kayla Cash and other Valley City individuals got the ball rolling on this project.

Last year, the Valley City commission unanimously approved of creating a new liquor license just for special events in the Reserve at Woodland Events Center.

The ribbon cutting ceremony and business after hours event was held by the Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Ambassadors on January 11th.
