LISBON, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  With an early three-ball working, and a fast break that kept a foot on the gas, the Tornado girls ran past Lisbon Tuesday night.

Oakes stopped the Broncos 64-31 in Lisbon to secure their 11th win, now 11-2 overall.  Lisbon fell to 4-10.

Kassidy Jackson and Laikyn Roney set an early tone, hitting a pair of threes in the opening quarter.  Late in the frame, Brynn Detlefsen added a triple, helping build a Tornado 24-8 first quarter advanage.

Bronco post Kyra Haercherl attempted to keep her team close, finding the basket for three field goals in the post and strong first-quarter rebounding.  She finished the game with 11 to lead the Broncos.

Emma Muggli scored six of her 13 in the third quarter to become the third Tornado in double figures on the night.  Ten players scored for Oakes.

Oakes is now 11-2, and their game at Lisbon was the first of six games in 11 days to finish the regular season.  They host LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Thursday.  Lisbon is now 4-10, and host Kindred Friday.
