KINDRED, N.D. (CCSO) – Shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14th the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Kindred Fire Department, Horace Fire Department, Davenport Fire Department, Kindred Ambulance, Sanford Ambulance, Red Cross, and the Salvation Army, responded to a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Viking Circle in Kindred, ND.

One of the lower units in the apartment complex had flames coming out of the structure at the time of the call. At the time of this news release, the fire damage was sustained to a single unit, some of the remaining units sustained smoke and water damage. There are no reported injuries to first responders or those who reside in the complex, one (1) cat was rescued.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, along with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, will continue to investigate the incident.
