VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) The Valley Twisters gymnastics team competed at their state meet in Minot this past weekend.
Jade Kramer was the state champion on Bars, tied for 2nd in vault and finished 3rd in the all around at Level 3 Junior.
Kaylyn Nadeau won the state championship in vault, finished 4th in bars, 3rd in beam, 4th in the floor routine. and took 3rd in the all around in Level 3 Seniors
Chloe Liebersbach tied for 9th in vault, finished 4th in bars, 7th in beam and 9th in floor for a 6th place finish in the all around at Level 4. Also at Level 4, Lauren Hoganson was 3rd in vault, Nora Jacobson finished 7th in beam, Jaye Potratz finished tied for 8th in beam and Kinley Larson placed 9th in bars.
Ember Barnett topped the Xcel group for the Valley Twisters. A 4th place finish in vault and 6th place finish in beam lead her to 7th place all around. Emmy Larson placed 4th in vault and Keighty Harris had a nice performance to grab 10th in the floor competition.
Jade Williams score of 34.325 in Level 7, and earned a spot at the regional tournament.
Alex Williams became the new director for the Valley Twisters this season, and had success improving technical components of routines for many competitors which resulted in higher scores.
