MINOT, N.D. (NDSF) – The North Dakota State Fair (NDSF) is excited to announce the chart-topping singer-songwriter Niko Moon will perform on the Grandstand stage on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, as part of the Fair’s 2026 entertainment lineup. Known for his upbeat sound, positive message, and crowd-connecting performances, Moon’s show is included with the 2026 Grandstand Showpass.
Moon first gained national attention with his triple-platinum hit “GOOD TIME,” quickly establishing himself as one of country music’s most feel-good voices. His latest album, AMERICAN PALM, builds on that momentum with a laid-back, coastal-inspired sound that blends country and pop influences with colorful storytelling and summer-ready energy.
“Our fairgoers are going to enjoy this show,” said Craig Rudland, general manager of the North Dakota State Fair. “Niko Moon puts on a performance that’s easy to enjoy and fun to be part of.”
A respected songwriter, Moon began his career co-writing for the Zac Brown Band and later penned hits for artists such as Morgan Wallen and Rascal Flatts. In addition to his music career, he founded the Happy Cowboy Foundation, which supports mental health and addiction recovery initatives — reflecting the positivity that runs through both his music and his live shows.
Moon’s performances are known for bringing people together through uplifting energy and connection. “Music has the power to unite people,” Moon said. “My goal is to create a space where we can connect, celebrate, and leave feeling better than when we arrived.”
Grandstand Showpass Adds Championship-Level Horse Relay Racing

Also included with the Showpass, the North Dakota State Fair, in partnership with MHA, will host two nights of the MHA Indian Horse Relay Championships. This event is expanding from a single night to a two-night championship format due to strong fan interest at the Fair.
