
WASHINGTON, DC (NewsDakota.com) – Senator John Hoeven announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded more than $6.7 million for 19 airport infrastructure projects across North Dakota through the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program. As a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has secured funding to advance airport development projects and strong federal investments in transportation infrastructure to benefit communities throughout the state.
The funding will support the following projects:
- Jamestown Regional Airport – $1.1 million – Reseal runway and taxiway pavements
- Minot International Airport – $1 million – Reconstruct existing ditch and aircraft storage hangar
- Crosby Municipal Airport – $481,750 – Construct new aircraft storage hangar
- Northwood Municipal Airport – $466,387 – Construct new aircraft storage hangar
- Rolla Municipal Airport – $443,000 – Reconstruct wind cone navigational aids and replace airport beacon
- Pembina Municipal Airport – $421,600 – Reconstruct taxiway lighting and wind cone navigational aids
- Rugby Municipal Airport – $404,180 – Rehabilitate taxi lane and apron pavements
- Hillsboro Municipal Airport – $329,005 – Construct new aircraft storage hangar
- Carrington Municipal Airport – $303,408 – Reconstruct wind cone navigational aids and replace airport beacon
- Beach Airport – $288,200 – Reconstruct runway lighting and approach systems, and replace beacon
- Kindred-Davenport Regional Airport – $274,371 – Replace snow removal equipment
- Garrison Municipal Airport – $224,000 – Reconstruct terminal facilities
- Glen Ullin Regional Airport – $162,800 – Reseal runway, taxiway and apron pavements
- Devils Lake Regional Airport – $152,529 – Reconstruct storm sewer inlet structures
- Mott Municipal Airport – $150,000 – Design and engineering for runway, taxiway and apron resealing
- Mandan Regional Airport – $144,808 – Rehabilitate terminal access road
- Lakota Municipal Airport – $137,715 – Reconstruct wind cone and replace airport beacon
- Langdon Municipal Airport – $137,676 – Reconstruct terminal access road
- Walhalla Municipal Airport – $112,869 – Update airport layout plan and inventory mapping
