CASSELTON/WHEATLAND, N.D. (NPSAS) – AI Technology is becoming infused into every fabric of our lives and the changes this brings to agriculture are part of that infusion. If you want to see some of those changes first-hand, you’re opportunity has arrived. Join Northern Plains Sustainable Agriculture Society (NPSAS), in partnership with Grand Farm as a closing event of their Cultivate Week, and the USDA Transition to Organic Partnership (TOPP) program as they invite farmers, ranchers, eaters, researchers, and the curious public to a see-it-in-action field day. Guests will see demonstrations of various tech in ag at the “Tech in Transition to Organic & Regenerative Farming,” on June 12, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at Grand Farm, 3717 153rd Ave SE near Casselton.
The morning session includes live field demonstrations of practical, farm-ready technologies that reduce chemical inputs and improve soil health with some of the latest AI ag technologies. Hear how these technologies can be used in conventional agriculture and also in transition to organic and/or regenerative farming practices. For those pre-registered, the event includes a complimentary lunch from Ecorobotix out of Switzerland, the lead agronomistwill share their latest technology perspective. The afternoon includes an organic farmer panel sharing the how and why of organic and regenerative farming, experiences and strategies for transition, and their use of technology. Closing will include insight from Grand Farm and tech industry experts.
The event is an opportunity to speak directly with innovators, extension professionals, and peers about on-the-ground implementation and economics of AI technology in agriculture. Attendees can expect clear, actionable information, see equipment in operation in real field settings, and network with technology providers and regional experts working to scale sustainable practices across the Northern Plains.
