GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Job Service North Dakota, in partnership with Real. Good. Northeast North Dakota, the Red River Regional Council, and the Nelson, Pembina, and Walsh County Job Development Authorities, will host the first-ever Real. Good. Virtual Rural Job Fair on July 23, 2026. This online event will connect local and national job seekers with employers across a range of industries in Region 4, which includes Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina, and Walsh counties.
According to the latest Online Job Openings Report, published June 3, 2026, Region 4 currently has more than 1,500 open online positions. Healthcare, sales, agriculture, transportation, management, and education represent the sectors with the greatest need, signaling strong career opportunities throughout the region. During the virtual event, job seekers will be able to connect directly with employers, upload their résumés, explore current job openings, and visit informational pavilions to learn more about working and living in Northeast North Dakota.
“The Real. Good. Northeast North Dakota Virtual Rural Job Fair represents a strategic opportunity to connect our rural employers with individuals seeking stable careers and a high quality of life,” said Mary Houdek, Grand Forks Workforce Center Business Advisor. Community members across the state are encouraged to share information about the event to support workforce growth in the region. The Virtual Job Fair will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
