VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Police Department would like to remind and inform the public about two new stop signs that have been installed at the intersection of 3rd Ave. NE and 4th St. NE due to ongoing traffic safety concerns in the area.
Chief Nick Horner said for those unfamiliar with the location, this intersection is located near the Leevers Foods and Faith Lutheran Church parking lots. Traffic traveling east and west on 4th St. NE is now required to stop before proceeding through the intersection with 3rd Ave. NE traffic.
Chief Horner said remember to come to a complete stop, look for oncoming traffic, and proceed only when it is safe to do so.
