Join us when over 100,000 film lovers will unite in over 500 venues worldwide to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world during the 25th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival!

MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. The Final ten films are screened simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue. By virtue of their selection by MANHATTAN SHORT, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified.

The ten MANHATTAN SHORT finalists have been selected from among 960 entries from 70 countries, testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of short films.

You Be the Judge! Will MANHATTAN SHORT audiences select any Oscar winners this year? They have in the past! MANHATTAN SHORT’s 2022 Final ten will not only entertain a global audience but will be judged by them as well. The world’s directors and actors anxiously await Jamestown area votes.

Admission is $15 / $10 for Arts Center members. Pay at the door.
