(NewsDakota.com) – The 41st annual Stock Car Stampede is this weekend in Jamestown.

Hundreds of drivers and thousands of spectators will converge on the Jamestown Speedway for races both Friday and Saturday night. Races begin at 7 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday. More than 250 drivers are expected to compete in the stampede, which is the Speedway’s biggest event of the year.

Races will feature Wissota Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, Modifieds and Late Models along with Bombers and Hornets.

The pit area was filled to the max Friday afternoon prior to the Stampede.
