Leonard Ronzheimer, age 99, of Valley City, ND, formerly of Rogers, ND, died October 22, 2012 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 26th at the Sheyenne Care Center Chapel.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Friday morning.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery near Valley City.

Leonard Charles Ronzheimer, the son of Charles and Frances (Etzell) Ronzheimer, was born May 25, 1913 near Rogers, ND.  Leonard grew up and attended school in the Rogers, ND area.  After receiving his education, Leonard began farming near Rogers which he did until his retirement.  Leonard earned his Private Pilot Certificate and was a very active pilot who owned his own airplane.  As a result of his aviation background, he began doing electronics work as a hobby.  Later in life, Leonard enjoyed winters in Yucca Valley, California.           

Leonard is survived by his two nephews, Wally (Alma) Kuder and Gordon (Evelyn) Kuder; four nieces, Dorothy (Jim) Rose, Joyce Potter, Merilyn Richie and Patricia Hood.           

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Myles and Norman and two sisters, Hilda Kuder and Anna Hood, one nephew and one niece.
