CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown College and Valley City State volleyball teams are both officially into the postseason.

Jamestown College is the No. 2 seed and VCSU the No. 6 seed for the A.I.I. Tournament Nov. 9-10 in Mayville. The final Independent rankings were released on Monday. VCSU earned the final spot in the tournament, thank in large part to a sweep of Dakota State on Friday night.

VCSU (14-20) and Jamestown College (23-6) will be in a pool play bracket with No. 3 seed Ashford, Iowa. The top two teams from the six-team A.I.I. Tournament advance to the National Tournament.

California State University-San Marcos is the top seed, followed by Jamestown College, Ashford, La Sierra, Mayville State and VCSU.
