N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A fire destroyed a farm shed 3 miles north of Wimbledon Thursday night around 5:45pm.

Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin said the shed was totaled in the blaze with an estimated property loss of $10,000. He said a few chickens died in the fire but no other injuries were reported. McClaflin said a heat lamp in the shed may have started the fire.
