N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The steel corporation that had been in talks with the Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation to bring its facilities to Jamestown has officially backed out of the proposed land purchase.

The Ambassador Steel Corporation, which would have been a rebar facility, had originally planned to build a facility next to Cavendish Farms in Jamestown. The business would have employed up to 10 people. JSDC’s DeAnn Brunner explained why the Steel company backed out.

Ambassador Steel is not currently looking at any locations in North Dakota. They are currently revamping their business plan and figuring out what the company’s best interest will be for the future.
