N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Reynolds, North Dakota man was injured after he crashed her ATV approximately four miles Southwest of Thompson on Saturday, July 12th.

Sgt. Greg Smith with the North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that 45 year old Todd Landa was traveling on loose gravel where he lost control of his ATV. He entered into a ditch and rolled the ATV several times and ejecting him into the ditch. Both the ATV and Landa came to rest in a wheat field on the West side of the road. Landa was not wearing a helmet when he crashed and was unresponsive when emergency personnel arrived on scene.

He was transported to Altru Hospital due to his injuries and he is listed in serious condition. Charges are pending against Landa.
