N.D (NewsDakota.com) High School footballs best met up at the Fargodome on Sunday afternoon for the 41st annual North Dakota Shrine Bowl.

The opening contest matched the 11-man All-Star teams from the East and West. Although, the East got the scoring started with a safety, the game was dominated by the West Team as they claimed a 21-2 victory.

 Future Bison and Bismarck High defensive end, Stanley Jones, was a force for the Wests stingy defense. The former Demons player reached the Easts back field for two sacks, two tackles for losses, and assisted on seven other tackles.

For the East, Valley City High’s  Dustin Lindgren carried the ball on three occasions for seven yards. He also had a reception of six yards in the game. Oakes High’s Cole Ehrlin had two receptions for 29 yards, in the loss.

The Nine man game was all West. They started the game hot, scoring on their first four drives and they never looked back. Grant County-Flasher quarterback Taylor Krenz torched the East for 307 yards and five touchdowns in the one sided 48-14 victory.
