Valley City Driver Arrested After Crashing Into A Pickup (Audio)

 CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com)  Police arrested a 38 year-old Valley City man after he struck a parked pickup around 2:30am Saturday, July 4 in Valley City.

Police Sergeant David Swenson said the driver fled the scene but officers were able to locate the suspect after his vehicle was heavily damaged and moving slowly in the 11-hundred block of North Central Avenue.

The driver Lance Woodard was charge with Driving Under the Influence and leaving the scene of an accident after striking an unattended motor vehicle.

Woodard posted bond and was released from jail on Monday, July 6.
