N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The #1 Fargo Davies Eagles swept the #9 Valley City Hi-Liners 25-15, 25-5 and 25-17 in the quarterfinals of the Eastern Dakota Conference Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday night. 

Fargo Davies will play Grand Forks Red River in the semifinals on Friday at 6 p.m.  

Valley City plays against the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs at 2 p.m. on Friday in a loser-out game in the EDC Tournament. You can listen to the match between the Hi-Liners and the Mustangs on AM 1490 KOVC and https://www.newsdakota.com/kovc-1490am/.

The EDC Tournament will continue at Grand Forks Central High School on Friday and conclude on Saturday. 

EDC quarterfinal scores are listed below: 

#5 Grand Forks Red River defeated #4 West Fargo Sheyenne 25-17, 17-25, 25-19 and 25-23. 

#2 Fargo Shanley defeated #7 Fargo North 25-19, 25-25-16 and 25-20. 

#6 West Fargo upset #3 Fargo South 25-19, 25-18 and 25-22.
