JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2017 Winter Ag & Construction Expo had a successful first day and will conclude today.
Several lectures and speakers are set today including “Hemp! Promising Returns on 1st Crops” with Jamie Edwards, a local grower. Other speakers include David Ripplinger, PhD on Supplying Crop Residue, Ryan Fitts with Cargill Malt discussing the Cargill 2017 Malting Barley Contracts, and Mick Kjar Forecasting the 2017 Growing Season.
Area youth will be bused in throughout the day and a Commercial Pesticide Certification Course will be held through the entire day beginning at 8:30 AM. The expo is located inside the Jamestown Civic Center and will conclude at 4 PM this evening.
