N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Couch potatoes and individuals wanting to take steps to a healthier lifestyle are being encouraged to participate in a 9 week “Couch to 5K” program.

The program is set to start August 14th and will take adults who are out of shape and train towards running a 5K. Dawn Morgan is a personal trainer who will be helping conduct the program.

The program is open to anyone and was started by Amie Aesoph and Dawn Morgan to get individuals involved and work towards a goal. Morgan states they’ll start with running for a minute and slowly build from there. The end result is running a 5K at the Fargo Mini-Marathon in October.

The cost to participate is $130 which includes the 5K registration as well as training, nutrition advice, training plan and more. Registration forms can be found at New Age Fitness.

For more information, contact Dawn Morgan at 701-658-9750 or Amie Aesoph at 701-269-9740.
