N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce has given out their August Customer Service Award to Tony “KC” Lewis at Cashwise Foods.

Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the award to Lewis. The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Tony was joined by his manager, Matt Arends, and the Ambassadors and Young Professionals in the picture. Tony’s letter of nomination stated:

“Tony did an awesome job entertaining a little boy in the checkout line ahead of me. While his mother was paying for their groceries, this little boy was playing with the conveyor belt. Tony showed him a “magic trick” raising his arms and slowly bringing them down to cover the sensor to make the belt stop. Next, he showed the little boy how to do it. The little boy loved it! Tony was smiling, the little boy was happy, and the boy’s mom and everyone else in line was smiling and enjoying the show. It was so cool to see a little act brighten so many faces! Way to go above and beyond.”

Tony, who along with all the other monthly winners, will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January 2018.

Customer Service Award nomination forms are available at the Chamber office and on their website at www.jamestownchamber.com or call 701-252-4830.
