JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Valley City State Cross Country has their sights set on taking home some hardware Friday at The North Star Athlete Association Championships in Jamestown. The forecast calls for snow and temperatures in the 30s.

On October 6th The Vikings ran at Parkhurst Cross Country Course during The Jimmie Invite. At the meet the men placed 3rd and the women 8th. Johnson says The Vikings familiarity with the course overshadows the cold’s factor

Cross Country Course is a few miles north of Jamestown, just west of Highway 281. The women’s 5K race starts a 11am with the men’s 8K around 11:45.
