CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Friday night The VCHS Gymnastics Team defeated Wahpeton and Grand Forks at a home event held at The YSC. The Hi-Liners finished with a score of 137.250.

Individually Valley City claimed the top 3 spots in the all around. Jocey Kriewald was 1st scoring 35, she was 1st in the bars and floor. Abbey Thornton took 2nd with a pair of second place finishes in the bar and beam. Olivia Olson won the vault and beam to earn a 3rd place finish in the all around.

Britta Roehrich came in 5th in the all around, her best event was the floor where so took 2nd place. Karina Olson was 8th in the all around, in the bar she was 5th.

Valley City will compete again Saturday in Jamestown.
