power is back on in Oakes but a few homes may still be without power due to extensive damage from the Sunday afternoon storm.  The City contracted tree removal crews to clear streets, alleys and boulevards. Police Chief Marke Roberts says everyone is urged to use caution when attempting to clear debris from personal property. Oakes city officials says, any debris (shingles, siding and building materials) must still be taken to the city landfill which will be open all week.
