N.D.–Jamestown has been solicited to participate in the “Today in America” series hosted by Terry Bradshaw.  The national program has put out different types of series about America including one on medical technology and another on American industries.  This particular group of interview is for the best cities to live, work and play.  Jamestown Mayor Katie Anderson said “We’ve gone through two rounds of production interviews and both have gone very well.  We have one round left with senior production before they will say for sure, ‘Yes Jamestown we want to make a series about you.’ It’s a five minute segment and it will air on Fox Business as well as CNN Headline News.  It’s really a quality production.”
Mayor Anderson said if Jamestown makes it through this final round filming will take place in early October.
The city just finished their strategic planning process and vision statement, which was made independently of this series, is to be the most desirable community to live work and play supported by a proactive, efficient and transparent municipal government.  Mayor Anderson said “So it kind of works out really well that they want to make a series that is based on our vision statement for the city of Jamestown.”
A third interview with senior production officials is taking place this week.
