and Mandan continued to hold down the first and second spots,  respectively, in this week’s Class AAA football poll, heading into their big  matchup Friday.

The Braves did grab a first-place vote for the first time this season,  preventing Bismarck from having another week as a unanimous No. 1. Century  remains third.

Grafton took all the first-place votes in Class AA. Carrington cracked the  rankings at No. 5.

The polls are conducted by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters  and Sportswriters Association.
