N.D. – A number of farm families and businesses helped a neighbor after a tragic farm accident killed 3-year-old Brayden McClean Sunday night.
Some 26 combines along with several grain hauling carts and semi trucks were used to help harvest 12-hundred acres of soybeans for the family as they cope with the loss of their family member.
Barnes County farmer Cole Conley organized the event. He says it was amazing to see so many people and businesses helping out one farm family.

And Barnes County farmer Jeff McMillian says people really step up to the plate in this area to help a neighbor in trouble or suffering.
McMillian says it would have taken the family 4 days to harvest 12-hundred acres and it took about 6 hours to complete the task on Tuesday.
Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin says 3-year-old Brayden McClean was killed after he climbed into an idle pickup slipped the gear into neutral causing the vehicle to roll down a hill. The boy fell out of the pickup and was run over Sunday night.
The funeral for Brayden McClean will be held Friday in Jamestown.
