– The Jamestown Blue Jay wrestling team suffered a 50-24 loss Tuesday night in their season opener against Bismarck Century at Jerry Meyer Arena.

The Blue Jays were hampered by five open weight classes, forcing 30 points worth of forfeits to Century.

The Blue Jays picked up five individual match victories during the dual. Jaden Horsted (126), Mitch Ova (138) and Zane Braun (152) all won by pin for the Blue Jays. Paxton Mewes (106) and Eathan Gumke (170) both won by decision.

Jamestown is off until Dec. 1 when they will host Turtle Mountain and Aberdeen Central in Jamestown.
