– Stutsman County 4-H coordinator Deb Hatlewick said the 4-H club food drive Tuesday was a success.
The Stutsman County 4-H clubs challenged the public to help them Stock a Stock Trailer with items to donate to area food pantries. Donations were collected Tuesday at the Jamestown Civic Center. Hatlewick said they collected more items than last year and filled the stock trailer floor about two-thirds full. The donations were dropped off at the Salvation Army and Community Action food pantries on Wednesday morning.

Hatlewick said the food drive will become an annual event, and they hope to grow the amount of items collected each year. There are 12 4-H clubs in Stutsman County with about 280 total members.
