Valley Development Corporation president George Gaukler said, the company would compliment the existing manufacturing companies already in place along with other local businesses.

Gaukler said, many of the former employees who worked for Vansco or the Parker Hannifin Corporation would qualify for position with the new company if they chooses to build in Valley City.

Barnes County Commissioner Cindy Schwehr and Valley City Commissioner Matt Pedersen said it would be a win win situation for the community if the company does build in this community.

The company would make a final decision by early February on its proposed plan.
