N.D. (AP) – Authorities say they may bring in divers
from Fargo as they search for a missing 49-year-old Jamestown man
who was last seen ice fishing on the Jamestown Reservoir. Darrin
Ackerman never came home on Sunday after heading out to fish
earlier in the day.
     
HEBRON, N.D. (AP) – A work truck driver suffered minor injuries
yesterday after a collision with a freight train in southwest North
Dakota. Fifty-nine-year-old Russell Heinle  of Hebron was
treated at a Bismarck hospital and released. His truck overturned
after being struck on the rear right side by the BNSF Railway
train.
     
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Late-season mountain lion hunting in
southwestern North Dakota is now closed, after hunters bagged the
fourth big cat yesterday. Wildlife authorities instituted a four
lion limit for the area. There’s no quota for the rest of the
state, where the hunting season is open through March.     
    
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) – A new 26,000-square foot hardware store
is set to open early next year in Dickinson. Officials with MAC’s
Hardware say the site will have about 20 employees.
