N.D.- A lot of blue and white teddy bears were thrown on the ice at Wilson Arena on Thursday night, and it was all for a great cause.
The area chapter of Cops And Kids took donations from those in attendance for the Jamestown High School boys hockey contest, and for a free-will donation, were allowed to throw a teddy bear onto the ice after the first Jamestown goal of the game.
Unfortunately, the Jays failed to score a goal during the first two periods, so organizers sent the command to release the bears at the end of the second period.

In total, $800 was raised to benefit the program which allows local law enforcement personnel to take children who are less fortunate out shopping for Christmas in order to make their season a little bit brighter.
