N.D. (AP) – North Dakota’s state medical board has
suspended a Minot doctor’s license. Brian Briggs says the complaint
against him for allegedly prescribing a controlled substance
improperly is based on a forged prescription and he’s likely to
appeal.
     
MINOT, N.D. (AP) – Police are holding a Minot man accused of an
armed robbery. The victim claims a man with a pistol robbed him of
about $100 as he was leaving a Minot bar last night. Officers
arrested the suspect at another bar a short time later.
     
CASSELTON, N.D. (AP) – Authorities are warning people after a
string of break-ins to homes and vehicles in Casselton. Cass County
deputies say at least a dozen homes and several businesses have
been burglarized and people should be taking extra care to make
sure everything is locked up.
     
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – Fire damaged a third-floor apartment at
a building in Grand Forks yesterday. Firefighters say the rest of
the building was filled with smoke but there were no injuries and
only one resident was displaced.
