– LaMoure and Edgeley-Kulm both earned victories in Friday’s semifinals of the Stutsman County Boys Basketball Tournament, setting up a rivalry game in the championship Saturday at the Jamestown Civic Center.
LaMoure defeated Midkota 56-38 in the semifinals, while Edgeley-Kulm held off a late rally by Carrington to win 61-56.
In consolation play, Kidder County edged Central Prairie 40-34, and Ellendale defeated Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal 56-44.
In Saturday’s seventh place game, PBK takes on Central Prairie. Kidder County and Ellendale play for fifth; Midkota takes on Carrington for third; and LaMoure and Edgeley-Kulm meet in the championship. All four games are being broadcast on Sunny 98.3.
