N.D.- The debut for Oakes High School girls basketball coach Caitlyn Wojahn was soured by the Central Cass Squirrles on Friday night in Casselton as the home team defeated the Tornadoes 68-30.

The Tornadoes had only four players score points in the contest. 12 points were scored by Karli Knutson and Nicole Warren, while Sydney Breitbach and Rebecca Greenmyer each contributed four points.

With the loss, Oakes falls to 0-1, and next up for the girls is a trip to South Dakota to play Britton. The next girls broadcast on KDDR-AM 1220 and NewsDakota.com will be on Friday, as the Tornadoes host the Ellendale Cardinals.
