(NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Cardinaires dance team took home first place in all four divisions during the Class B State Dance Team Championships held Friday and Saturday at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.
The Cardinaires took first place in Jazz, High Kick, Pom and Hip Hop. They also won the team sportsmanship award, the team academic scholar award, and Miranda Pederson won the individual scholarship award.
The Cardinaires are coached by Shaunette Koenig.
Valley City’s dance team competed in the Class A Championships. The Hi-Lites placed sixth in Pom and third in Hip Hop.
